Combining Diversity and Inclusion with Ethical Protocols in the Fundraising Shop

Program Description:
October is AFP Ethics Awareness Month. This year we are combining ethics in fundraising with diversity and inclusion.
Speaker
Ann Marie Marmande
is the President of Our Lady of the Lake Foundation. She will speak on the essentials of strong stewardship of donor resources in large and small nonprofits.

George Bell
is the President and CEO of the Capital Area United Way and oversees agency fundraising and operations in the 10 parish area. George will discuss the role of diversity in fundraising and hiring diverse candidates to be a part of the fundraising team.

Marc Barnes
has served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Dillard University since 2013. In his current role, he is responsible for all of the university's fundraising efforts, government grants & contracts, alumni relations, marketing & communications, and community outreach. His division is responsible for over $10 million in revenue annually.
